Accessibility Information (Travel for All)
During the winter, we have flexible hours until we resume daily operations in March/April, depending on the weather.
Last admission is 1 hour before closing time.
We recommend traveling by car via Hemfurth on Bringhäuser Straße (K35) toward Rehbach. Parking There are plenty of parking spaces available. A bus parking lot is located directly in front of the ticket office. There are also plenty of parking spaces for bicycles. Public Transportation Nearest bus stop: Edertal-Hemfurth Wildpark Line: 518 Please note that there are restrictions on bringing bicycles on buses. Bicycles may be transported free of charge in the designated areas. If operational conditions require it, transit company staff are authorized to deny transport. There is no guarantee that bicycles will be accepted. NVV Service Hotline: 0800-939-0800 All routes, including “AST-Taxi” (shared-ride taxi) routes, are listed in detail on the NVV schedule information page—www.nvv.de/fahrplanauskunft Tip for smartphone users: Download the “NVV Mobil” app from your app store before your trip! In general, you should also factor the “AST-Taxi” into your planning. With its call-and-ride taxis, the NVV ensures mobility on routes that are not in high demand. Instead of taking the bus, you’ll be traveling here in regular taxis or rental cars. AST taxis also have fixed schedules—you simply need to call to book your ride (usually) at least 30 minutes before departure. Please also keep in mind that AST taxis only operate when no regular bus routes are running at the same time. Shared Taxi Dispatch Center: +49 (0) 5631-5062088
