The Ruhr-Eder GeoRadroute connects the Sauerland with the Waldecker Land over a distance of 210 kilometers and winds through a landscape where stunning natural scenery and fascinating geological history combine to create a unique experience. Along the route, views of valleys, mountain ranges, and river courses—shaped by the geological forces of bygone eras—unfold time and again. Tranquil stretches through forests alternate with open panoramas that highlight the region’s diversity. The Hallenberg–Medebach connection makes it possible to split the 210 kilometers and, for example, ride two “loops.” This turns the tour into a varied journey that appeals to both those interested in natural history and those who enjoy relaxed cycling.
